Moppa Elliott was born and raised in Factoryville, PA and attended Oberlin College and Conservatory. In 2001 he founded Hot Cup records before moving to NYC where he currently lives with his partner, Diana, his son, Ben, and his dog, Joni. He plays in bands and orchestras, teaches music and baseball to high school students, and collects records and baseball cards.
